Doing the "tourist thing" at Peggy's Cove!
I found the picture & name of the ship which carried our family to Canada ! D & I are at Halifax's famous Pier 21 which is now a museum with multi-media, artifacts & pictures of the many people who immigrated to Canada in the 1900's. Actually my family landed in Quebec City. D is not sure which port her parents used BUT then the immigrants travelled by train to the prairies! [our stop was Winnipeg] At Pier21 you can use their computers to do research on the Family Tree stuff. We both found interesting tidbits of our relatives!!!!
